Ye awarded Best Poster at the Singapore Scientific Conference
Our PhD student Ye receives the Best Poster award, presented by Nature’s Chief Physical Sciences Editor Karl Ziemelis, at the Singapore Scientific Conference (SSC). The SSC, held at Marina Bay Sands, is a global platform that brings together researchers, industry leaders, and emerging scholars to advance science and sustainability.
Ye showcased her research on eXplainable AI for urban sustainability trade-offs, applying a Graph Neural Network model to uncover how urban features shape economic and social vibrancy across Singapore - supporting more transparent, data-driven planning. This is Ye’s first semester at NUS and her first conference participation.
