Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore Green Building Council

We have reached a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore Green Building Council, with support from the Building and Construction Authority Singapore, to steward the web-based Singapore Building Carbon Calculator (SBCC). 🌱🤝

The SBCC is a free, web-based tool for assessing embodied carbon in buildings, tailored to Singapore’s context. 🏙️ It helps architects, engineers, and developers identify carbon hotspots in materials and equipment to support Green Mark and low-carbon design decisions.

Originally developed by the JTC Corporation team comprising Ryan Tan, Bryan Ong Wen Xi and Nikki Yong, the web-based SBCC was launched in 2023 at the International Green Building Conference, and we are glad to continue building and improving this important public resource. 🚀
