Our undergraduate researchers Wong Hongyao and Royden Soh was awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize (OURP) and the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) Innovation & Research Award (IRA) high achievement awards for their Final Year Projects with us. Together with Pengdi Liu, they developed an open web platform for whole-of-country operational and embodied carbon emissions analysis, with the aim of informing decarbonization strategies for the built environment. The platform also comprises EnergyPlus simulation templates for all keys archetypes, developed as part of their work. Their paper detailing the methodology and results is currently under review.
